Potrero Library offers series of parenting classes

The Potrero library hosted parenting classes in May of 2015. A series of classes were offered to the community throughout the course of 4 weeks. The classes were based on "How to help your child in school" and were a direct result of a community need, emphasized by how many parents had been coming to the library confused about the new Common Core curriculum. The Potrero Library offered a great learning experience to the attending parents, who now feel that they are better able to help their children in the upcoming year.
