SDCL Unveils 24/7 Library To Go in Chula Vista

Join us on Tuesday, November 7 at 10 a.m. for the Grand Opening of the new 24/7 Library To Go kiosk in Chula Vista. The kiosk, located at 690 Oxford Street, provides self-service access to materials, as well as the ability to place holds, download ebooks and audiobooks, browse the catalog, and connect to a WiFi hotspot.

Launchpads Now Available at SDCL

Our Launchpads have officially LAUNCHED and are available for checkout at all library branches! Launchpads are tablets designed for little hands, pre-loaded with age-appropriate themed apps that offer children lots of educational fun.

Día de los Muertos Celebration

The Imperial Beach Library is hosting a special Día de los Muertos celebration on Saturday, November 4 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The event will include a food demonstration with Chef Joaquin, a performance by Mariachi Divinas, a sugar skull craft, and more. One Book, One San Diego

This fall, SDCL branches are hosting a series of book discussions, film screenings, and other activities based on the 2017 One Book, One San Diego selection, The Sandcastle Girls by Chris Bohjalian.
