Adult Literacy

The Adult Literacy Program is a volunteer-based tutoring program that helps adults improve their literacy skills and empowers them to achieve their full potential.

Learners meet with volunteer literacy tutors twice a week for one-on-one tutoring sessions at a neighborhood library.

Please note: Adult literacy volunteer opportunities are expected to return at a later date. To learn about additional adult literacy volunteer opportunities, please contact the San Diego Council on Literacy: 888-850-READ (7323)
