It’s always a treat to hear from writers about their favorite books and authors.
We invited City of San Diego Poet Laureate Paola Capó-García and poet Margarita Pintado Burgos to recommend some of their favorite poetry collections – find their favorites (and their poetry) in our library book list. You can request books in the library’s online catalog or access select titles digitally through the free Libby reading app.
San Diego County Library is delighted to welcome Paola and Margarita for a poetry reading at Pages in the Park on Sunday, September 7 at 3 p.m. The event runs from 2-5 p.m. at Heritage County Park and is free and open to the public.
