Free Citizenship Course
Are you ready to learn about U.S. citizenship and prepare for the naturalization test?
San Diego County Library partners with local non-profit Jewish Family Service of San Diego to offer free 10-week citizenship courses at select library branches. Our partners also provide free application assistance from accredited immigration specialists.
Fall 2025 Courses: October 6 - December 19, 2025
Free 10-week citizenship courses will be held at the following library branches:
- El Cajon: Mondays from 10 a.m.-12 p.m.
- Bonita-Sunnyside: Mondays from 4-6 p.m.
- Spring Valley: Tuesdays from 4-6 p.m.
- Imperial Beach: Thursdays from 4-6 p.m.
- Camp Lockett Middle School: Fridays from 10 a.m.-12 p.m.
Registration is required. Please call or text (619) 753-1630, or email citizenship.ed@jfssd.org to enroll.
