Emergency Preparedness

Libraries play a vital role in strengthening community resilience. Through emergency preparedness programming, we help communities stay informed and ready for unexpected situations.

We partner with San Diego County Fire Community Emergency Response Team (CERT), the Office of Emergency Services, and local experts to provide trainings, resources, and tools that empower individuals and families to plan ahead.

From disaster readiness workshops to fire safety education, our programs equip communities with the knowledge and confidence to respond effectively in emergencies.
