2022 is the Year of The Tiger! Also called Spring Festival, Lunar New Year is widely celebrated across Asian countries. The holiday begins with the first new moon of the lunar calendar and ends on the first full moon of the lunar calendar, 15 days later.

Every new year ushers a new animal’s zodiac year. There are 12 Chinese zodiac animals: the rat, ox, tiger, rabbit, dragon, snake, horse, goat, monkey, rooster, dog, and pig.

Some of the most popular food eaten during Lunar New Year includes fish, dumplings, spring rolls, rice cake, sweet rice balls, noodles, and fruit that is round and golden in color.
