Printing & Copying

Printing, copying and scanning are available at all San Diego County Library locations. Print jobs can be sent from a public computer in the library or from offsite. Please see library staff if you need assistance.

Faxing services are not available.

Mobile Printing

Send print jobs anytime, from anywhere, and pick up your items at a library branch within 24 hours.

Print from a laptop or desktop computer

  1. Find your library branch's printer ID and click the link.
    1. Alternatively, you can go to print.princh.com and manually enter the printer ID.
  2. Upload your document(s) and adjust your settings.
  3. Visit your selected library location and pay at the print release terminal to pick up your prints.

Print from a mobile phone or tablet

  1. Find your library branch's printer ID and tap the link.
    1. Alternatively, you can install the free Princh app from the App Store or Google Play.
  2. Upload your document(s) and adjust your settings.
  3. Visit your selected library location and pay at the print release terminal to pick up your prints.

Printing costs

  • Black-and-white: $0.15 per page
  • Color: $0.45 per page

Please pay for your prints at the print release terminal.

The mobile printing system does not accept cards or online payments. Please bring small bills and coins for payment.

After submitting your print job(s), you will have 24 hours to pick up your prints. Print jobs are automatically deleted after 24 hours.

If you want to print a web page or email from your mobile phone, we recommend you install the free Princh app from the App Store or Google Play and follow the tutorial in the app.
