Little Brain Builders: Early Math

Building basic math and motor skills with your child is pretty easy! In fact, you might already be engaging in these activities by simply playing and talking to them. As you lay out toys or objects, describe them to your child as “red,” “blue,” “big,” or “square.” By doing so, you are already showing your child the differences between objects by verbally sorting them out, and sorting is a building block of math.
